Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts but unwavering hope Tara Sanchez-Chappell. Tara, a vibrant and incredibly important part of our blended family – a cherished mother and stepmother – and my dear friend has recently received the difficult diagnosis of colon and liver cancer.

This news has been a shock to us all, but Tara's incredible spirit and feisty determination are shining through even now. True to her hilarious personality, she is facing this challenge with remarkable humor and good spirits, bringing light and laughter even amidst this difficult time. We all know her strength will be powerful in her fight against this disease.

Tara has been transferred to the hospital in San Francisco where she had surgery to remove the mass in her colon and now we are awaiting the next steps in her treatment plan, we know that the road to recovery will be long. Our primary focus is to ensure Tara can concentrate solely on healing and getting better, without the added stress of mounting medical bills and monthly expenses. Jay has not left her side and will be taking time off work to care for her.

As her close-knit family, we are committed to supporting her every step of the way. We want to ease her worries about finances so she can channel all her energy into beating this cancer.
