<div>Hi, my name is Michael Medeiros and I am Talia Smith’s father. I am asking you to help with my daughter’s medical expenses. Prior to April 2021, Talia was healthy, had a great career in corporate America and was the primary caregiver for her husband who is a quadriplegic in a wheelchair and a disabled Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In April 2021, Talia took a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, called Ciprofloxacin, and ended up in the hospital, unable to walk, after 3 pills. The ensuing medical problems left her unable to work or take care of her husband anymore or herself. To complicate matters further, she developed Mast Cell Activation Syndrome after taking the antibiotic, which caused her to have many allergies and left her unable to eat or drink. She had a rapid health decline and was placed on Hospice, end of life care, in September 2021. By some miracle, Talia survived, but she is still confined to a hospital bed and wheelchair. She can only eat 6 foods due to Mast Cell. Additionally, she is still on Pallative care and requires 24/7 care for her survival.

<div>Talia’s prognosis is unknown, but she has been fighting for her life for the last 3 1/2 years; with the added stress of needing medical care/expenses for 2 people. In addition to constant health issues, people suffering from fluoroquinolone toxicity, usually end up struggling financially, as they have to pay out-of-pocket for most of their medical expenses. This is because the recommended treatments are not recognized or covered by western medicine. Your donation would help my daughter continue her alternative treatments, such as NAET, RIFE, peptide therapy and mast cell treatments. It will help Talia more than you can imagine, as this illness has taken everything from her.
