<div>Update: Last update was in October 2025 when I was just starting my chemotherapy. That was an extremely hard road for me and whom ever has went through this knows what I mean! I almost tapped out!! Chemotherapy really took a toll on me mentally, emotionally, and physically! I had some very bad side effects from treatment. I finally finished it and rung the bell December 4th, 2025!! I had about a month and half to try to rest before Radiation started. I had my #20+ radiation visits in which that also had me extremely exhausted and completely wore down. The side effects were also daunting and overwhelming. I have now rung the bell and complex radiation!! Yay me!! I got through those 4 stages!! #2 major surgeries along with Chemotherapy and Radiation! I had then started my immunotherapy and hormone therapy. Being put in medical induced menopause has been a terrible experience, with all the hot flashes mood swings and over all not feeling well and severe bone pain!

<div>My hair has started growing back it's in its weird Fonzie stage lol. Grateful for the growth.

<div>But, here I am proud to say....I'm in Remission as of  2 months ago!! I did celebrate "ME"!!! But, extremely nervous about the upcoming pet scan and blood work!! Praying for no reaccurrence!!

<div>But, as of now I'm branching out to get help or donations for financial recovery from my Cancer Journey along with my upcoming #2 surgeries. My Cancer  journey has really caused a financial strain on my family and I. We exhausted all savings and are currently going paycheck to paycheck.

<div>My husband is the current bread winner(or stretcher). I am currently not working(not sure if I ever will..but, hopeful) due to a lot of complications and side effects from my treatments and surgeries.  I currently have lymphodema in my rt arm with severe discomfort and pain. I have severe neuropathy in my feet in which make it extremely hard to be on my feet for very long. Along, with severe exhaustion that sleep doesn't help. I'm having severe bone pain from the hormone blockers. But, my list can go on and on. I currently have applied for ssdi awaiting a response in which can take a while!! I can provide all Dr. documents if need be with all the current ailments.

<div>The upcoming surgeries are for reconstruction along with a ovariectomy due to my hormone positive cancer diagnosis.

I am just branching out to get some financial relief with these upcoming surgeries and bills due to the lack of family support and income. I am already putting enough financial stress on my husband with him being the only one currently working; along with having my daughter at home with her daughter and a soon to arrive second baby.

<div>I would like to thank each and every one of you that have donated thus far. It is greatly appreciated! I have had my second surgery on August 28th for my lymphovenous bypass and more on my lymphnode dissections. I was able to get all the copays and out of pocket cost taken care of to have the surgery. After the pathology came back the results determined that there were 8 out of 10 that had Cancer ! The lymphovenous bypass was successful. They also had to debrive my under breast wound due to it not healing well and also apply a wound vac to my lower abdomen due to the incision opening up. I was put on an antibiotic; but unfortunately I had an allergic reaction and broke out in a rash head to toe. Since then they had scheduled me for a port placement to start chemotherapy and radiation treatment do to the pathology report. My diagnosis has changed from stage 2 now to stage 3 so my Oncologist stated they want to be more aggressive with treatment.

<div>During recovery from the second surgery, I had started experiencing pain in my rt lower calf painful like a charlie horse and I was becoming short of breath. During my follow up and having my sutures removed , my drain taken out, and the wound vac removed; I told the Dr I just wasn't feeling right. So they told me I needed to go to the ER. I did and then found out I had DVTs in my lower right extremity and PE's in both lungs. So I was admitted to be observed and put on a drip on blood thinners.

<div>Later, I was released to administrator stots in my stomach and to take an oral blood thinner.
</div>

<div>On October 2nd I had my first chemo infusion in which I had a few complications. But, after revision the infusion was successful. Day 1 I felt normal no side effects, day 2 was nauseous and had episodes of vomiting, day 3 the injectable for the bone marrow had been dispensed through the back of my arm within hrs side effects hit me hard!! I had severe muscle spasms and bone pain inwhich caused me severe pain and agony. I was in so much pain from the spasms that my whole body was locking up. I couldn't control the spasms or the pain. I was so ready to tap out and said many times with tears rolling down my face that I could not do this anymore!! But I got through it!! My BP has been through the roof with readings of 160/120 so on for 2 weeks now. Not sure if it's side effects of chemo, pegfilgestrom the injectable or stress. Normally I have perfect BP. But it will be discussed with Oncologist. Seems as if it's one thing or another.

<div>October 17th U cried my eyes out in the shower seeing my hair go down the drain and while brushing my hair...my hair started falling out strand by strand and clump by clump. Trying to hold out til Monday to shave it so my grandson doesn't get scared of seeing me.

<div>October 18th before getting in the shower I brush my hair, next thing I know I'm just historically crying because my sink was full of hair!! I am emotionally drained!! So much has went on in the last few months !!! But, knowing that soon I will not have a hair on my head it emotionally daunting. The reality of having Cancer hit me harder than I ever expected!!

<div>July 28th Update: #3 drains pulled one more to go! All my electrical monitoring wires were removed. I'm still in alot of pain and discomfort. I m currently needing wound care for this surgery recovery after the removal of my drainage tubes and my current post-op wounds. I am scheduled for my second surgery on August 28th and have to pay a very high copay (unknown of how much). I also have to come out of pocket $250 for compression sleeves along with $3000 for a reroute of my lymphatic system drainage so I don't get lymphedema. Insurance doesn't cover this. I don't see how I'm supposed to come up with that type of money with in the month. Any help financially would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit counts!! Help me beat Cancers a$$!!

<div>July 25 th Update! So after thinking I beat cancers a##; I received devastating news that they didn't get all of the cancer!!! <div><strong>I was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer- Invasive Carcinoma with lobular features in my breast, that metastasized into my lymph nodes(metastatic Carcinoma). I was diagnosed on April 12th inwhich this diagnosis has changed my life.</strong> I have only spoken to close friends and family about my diagnosis. My diagnosis is ILC, and it metastasized into my lymph nodes (pathway to my lymphatic system). I have recently started treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Since the cancer metastasized into my lymph nodes, they have been scheduling every test necessary, such as a PET scan. The PET scan showed spots on my left ovary along with a spot on my left rib. So they have been thorough and scheduled all of these current tests: breast MRI, pelvic ultrasound, CT reg MRI, angiogram. I'm currently awaiting those results. Let's pray they are negative.

<div>The current treatment they have me on is a hormone blocker since I'm est+, prog+, her2-. Since ILC doesn't respond to chemotherapy, they are wanting to do targeted radiation therapy; my radiation will start shortly after my surgery recovery. Thus, far this diagnosis has taken a major toll on me mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. Everyday is an appt. Or two or three. Every time I need labs done or another test ran my veins blow. Your body takes a beating and I haven't even got to the treatments yet.

<div>I'm currently scheduled for a double bilateral mastectomy w/lymph node resections and a diep flap reconstruction on July 17th, 2025. They stated it will be a 10hr surgery and a very long recovery. My recovery time frame will be anywhere from 8-12 weeks. This surgery is life changing, life saving, and a very big decision; hopefully after the mastectomy and lymph nodes resections then I will be 80% or more cleared from cancer. Let's hope they get most of it so it doesn't spread further. This diagnosis has really took a toll on my family; seems as if at times I don't like to speak of it so I don't worry them. Because just the thought of me having cancer they break down and cry or worry. I just hope this surgery does me right!!
