Support Syria's Special Education Journey

Hi, my name is Marina and I’m in need of financial support in order to raise my daughter Syria’s tuition cost.

Syria has a learning disability and has suffered at the hands of emotional and physical abuser at a young age. As her mother, I would like to ensure that she continues her education at the private school that she is currently attending, with hopes of providing her with stability. I also prioritize her need to establish trust and faith with the faculty she is currently accustomed to given her history of trauma.

Unfortunately, I received a minimal school grant for the 2024-2025 school year which will not cover the cost of tuition and the first payment is due mid June 2024.

As a result, I have to pay $2,375 per month out of pocket. However, this cost will result in my inability to afford my rent as well as feed family. The realization that I cannot afford to provide an education, structured towards my daughter’s unique needs (given her disability) has been very stressful for my family.

I am in desperate need to help my daughter continue attending private school as she is currently struggling with her school work and education. My daughter’s private school education program has helped her to catch up with her current grade level and I want to see her continue to prosper.

As a mother, I am dedicated to helping keep my daughter’s focus on her success in school despite her learning disability.
