On October 14, 2020, our friend and coworker Syretta Brown was admitted to the hospital with symptoms of COVID-19. Over the past 8 days, Syretta has fought for her life against an illness that is unyielding and uncompromising. She remains in observation now while her doctors ensure that she will make a healthy recovery.
However, Syretta is uninsured and furloughed from her job at the Milwaukee Art Museum. We are asking for any support you may be able to give Syretta and her sister, Sierra, who is also sick with COVID-19. These donations will go towards any medical bills Syretta incurs as a result of her hospitalization and providing financial support during her furlough.
