<div>Hi everyone, my name is Stacey, a mother to a beautiful little girl named <strong>Sy’Press</strong>. On December 24, 2025, Sy’Press started to experience really bad neck pain and fevers. The following day, she developed a rash on her neck that slowly began to take over her whole body. Fevers, rash, vomiting, and fatigue were now some of the symptoms we were facing. I took Sy’Press to her primary doctor, and the doctor believed it could be an infection in her neck. We were prescribed antibiotics and sent on our way.

<div>The following day came, and she was worse. We went to a walk-in clinic to get a second opinion and were sent right to the emergency room. After being examined, I was told it looked like she was fighting the flu. She was prescribed Tylenol and Motrin and sent on our way. The next day comes, and nothing is helping the fevers, and she was negative for the flu. Now we are back to square one. Sy’Press is getting sicker and sicker by the minute, so I took her back to the emergency room, and we are currently still there. <strong>Sy’Press was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease, forcing her to remain hospitalized.</strong> So many tests, X-rays, and echo exams have been done, and this is just the start of a lifelong illness that will need follow-up appointments and medication.

<div>Since Sy’Press has been ill, it’s forced me to miss work without pay, and bills have been piling up. This also requires me to now take time off work to care for her and attend her follow-up appointments. <strong>If you can please find it in your heart to help us at a time in need, my heart will be so grateful.
