Sylvana has always been the kind of person who gives her all to her community. As the founder and leader of the Space Coast Adventurer’s Guild, she has brought together countless people through her passion for TTRPGs, creating a welcoming space for everyone to connect, play, and grow. She runs this group entirely as a labor of love, never asking for anything in return, and her dedication has made a real difference in the lives of so many.
Recently, Sylvana has encountered some difficult times, including the loss of her home. And even though she has been struggling to make ends meet, she continues pouring her energy into supporting others. The stress of losing her home and the uncertainty of what comes next have been almost overwhelming, but Sylvana remains committed to her community and her goals, like the pursuit of her Master’s degree.
Here's what Alliyah, a volunteer who works closely with Sylvana, had to say: “This fundraiser is a chance for all of us who have been touched by Sylvana’s kindness and leadership to give back. The money raised will help relieve some of the tension from the loss of her house, cover the costs of moving out and cleaning, and provide her with the resources she needs to find a safe place to land. The financial support will be the catalyst for stability, opening the door to a future where Sylvana is pursuing her Master's, and just enough support to help her get back on her feet.”
Nat, another officer in the guild, had this to say: "Sylvana is the foundation and heart of the guild, and gives her all to make the guild a welcoming and warm home for us - sometimes to her own detriment. Running an organization like this isn't easy - it takes a lot of time, money, effort, and energy to plan events. Even when she's struggled to pay for her own needs, she's made sure that we were able to not only keep the guild's bills paid, but donate to community groups and help feed our unhoused neighbors.”
And finally, Will, another officer, shared this: "Sylvana has gone through great lengths to ensure the upkeep and development of the local gaming community. Despite numerous personal setbacks she's remained diligent in caring for the members of the Space Coast Adventurer's Guild. These efforts include, but are not limited to outreaches to the larger Brevard/Florida area, hosting events that celebrate often underrepresented cultures, maintaining a welcoming and safe space for nerds and gamers of all systems and creeds to gather in.”
