<div>Hi my name is Susan and I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer back in December 2022. It was a huge shock as I don’t have any family history nor what they typically say are risk factors.

<div>I have gone through many months of chemotherapy, and then surgery (mastectomy plus lymph node removal). Unfortunately, the results of the surgery showed that all of the lymph nodes they took out still had cancer in them :( Yet another disappointing shock.

<div>I have so much more medical treatments ahead of me including radiation and 8 years of endocrine therapy (with their potential life-altering side effects). AND all along I’ve known that the medical Standard of Care is not going to be enough for me to HEAL fully and keep this from coming back. So from the beginning I’ve researched, explored, have started on and will be adding on certain therapies that are considered integrative or even “alternative”.

<div>Unfortunately, all of this costs big money as they are all out-of-pocket expenses. And I have years of medical costs ahead of me as hopefully I’ll still be blessed with decades of life.

<div>Those of you who know me know my many years of Social &amp; Environmental Justice activism, Earth Tending and/or Spirituality &amp; Healing work. Dreaming of continuing on with these life passions and contributing positively to our shared planet fuels my tenacity through this difficult (and at times overwhelming) healing journey.
