Today young female pit bull was abandoned by its owner in our office with a stab wound to her intestines and abdomen. Her intestines were hanging outside her body. He said he would come back in 5 mins, but sadly left his poor dog to suffer. Dr Jones did the surgery anyway as she couldn’t bear to watch her die after after all the cruelty she experienced. We would appreciate community support to cover the costs of her surgery. We are raising just enough to cover the costs of materials and do not intend to profit off of her case. Emergency room bills can be more than $5,000 for similar surgery, but we are hoping to raise only $500 to cover our costs. We will also be looking for a foster home if she pulls through the next few critical days. Thank you. Dr Jen Jones
