As of May 09 2018, our friend Suresh Subramaniam
has been given 4 to 8 weeks to live and his last wishes are to pay off his outstanding medical bills and to provide education and basic financial coverage for his two girls.

Suresh has been fighting with blood cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukemia along with Myelo dysplasia Syndrome) since August 2017. He has undergone several chemo therapies along with other treatments to fight this cancer. He was waiting for a stem-cell transplant in January 2018 and while waiting his condition worsened and unfortunately, he is not able to recover from the treatment and is no longer a good candidate. While under continued treatment at Inova Hospital, he contracted fungal pneumonia and his condition worsened rapidly which shattered all the hopes of his successful treatment and survival. At this point oncologists have run out of treatment options and Suresh has been given only few more weeks to live.
This is his second fight with cancer. He was diagnosed with throat cancer with acute Laryngitis in May 2012. After intense treatments for more than a year he won the battle and started his normal activities in 2013. His family was hopeful they had overcome all the emotional and financial hardships they had faced but the relapse has shattered their hopes of recovery.
Suresh and his family are devastated and are in dire need of our help in this unfortunate situation. I’ve known Suresh and family for more than 20 years. They are extremely nice people and it is heartbreaking to see Suresh in this condition. His wife Jothi has been forced to take the whole responsibility of taking care of Suresh, their daughters and her elderly mother. I have created this GoFundMe to help them with the medical bills and their children’s educational expenses. All funds collected will go directly to the Suresh family. About Suresh Subramaniam & his family
Suresh Subramaniam (54 years) was born and brought up in Pollachi, a small town in Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu in India. He did his Master’s Degree at PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore. He is married to Jothi who is also from Coimbatore and is living in Virginia, USA. Their elder daughter is a sophomore at VCU and the younger daughter is a 9th grader at Chantilly High School. Jothi does not have a steady job now due to having to take care of Suresh. Jothi’s elderly mother lives with them. Please help this wonderful family.
