<div>We at the Sunset and Gower location are facing the same, systemic problems seen in Starbucks stores everywhere: short staffing, unpredictable scheduling, low pay, rising healthcare costs, harassment, broken equipment, and unfair discipline. Through worker-to-worker organizing, we have shown that it’s possible to address these issues by taking a unified stand. However, lasting change can only be achieved through a fair union contract. Despite the union’s efforts and some important wins, Starbucks continues to delay and stonewall during contract negotiations, leaving workers with no choice but to take action.
