Suck It Up, Buttercup just had its world premiere in Portland — and the room was electric.

The film is an investigative, emotional, solution-driven film featuring physicians, clinicians, patients, and other key stakeholders, exposing the frailties of the US healthcare system in terms of corporate greed, systemic bureaucratic failures, and a deteriorating work environment that's putting all of us at an ever-increasing risk. This is a close examination of health systems that have failed, as well as systems that have succeeded and why.
