I am Hanna Jaeger, co-writer and director of The Creature, an upcoming student film by DTV Productions at DePaul University. The Creature is a comedy-drama following Honor and Sallie, a struggling lesbian couple, and their disastrous attempt to use a younger woman to reignite the passion between them. This is a story about love, loss, betrayal, and womanhood. It is about queer women, told by queer women.

Our goal is to raise a small amount of money to cover meals for cast and crew, set decoration and wardrobe, and location rentals. We have a dedicated, diverse crew that is excited to get started on shooting, and we are just looking for that final push to reach our goal. Our planned shooting dates are March 7-9, 2025.
