Whether you've donated, shared this campaign, purchased a book, booked a session, sent a prayer, checked in on me, or simply held me in your thoughts, your support has carried me through one of the most challenging seasons of my life.
 
I honestly don't know where I would be without this community.
 
As many of you know, I have been navigating chronic pain, mobility challenges, neurological symptoms, and the long process of seeking answers about my health for years. What began with injuries in my twenties grew into a complex web of pain, inflammation, balance issues, falls, nervous system dysregulation, and physical limitations that have become increasingly difficult to manage.
 
I've seen more than 50 doctors over the years. I've completed physical therapy, undergone surgeries, tried countless treatments, and continued searching for answers. While I still don't have a complete diagnosis, the impact on my daily life is very real.
 
I am currently awaiting my Social Security Disability hearing, which is scheduled for August 20, 2026.
 
Until then, I am living in a difficult gap between being unable to work consistently and not yet receiving disability benefits.
 
For a while, I was able to supplement my income by driving for Lyft. Unfortunately, that option has become unavailable due to both my physical limitations and significant vehicle repairs that are needed before my car can safely return to the road. My vehicle currently needs over $1,350 in repairs, including a water pump replacement and tires.
 
The loss of that income has created an immediate financial crisis.
 
At this time, I am seeking support for my basic living expenses, including:
 
• Rent and utilities for my studio apartment

• Food and household necessities

• Phone service

• Vehicle repairs

• Medical expenses and appointments

• General living expenses while awaiting disability approval
 
One of the most humbling lessons of this experience has been learning to receive.
 
I have always been someone who helps others. Through my wellness work, writing, energy healing, volunteer service, community leadership, and advocacy, I have dedicated much of my life to supporting people through difficult times.
 
Now I find myself in the position of needing that same support.
 
What has surprised me most is that while many formal support systems have come up short, the kindness of individual people has shown up again and again.
