In rural Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana, too many young people grow up without access to the kinds of opportunities that spark confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. START was created to change that.

START is a completely free program serving Pre-K through 12th-grade students and their families because no child should be excluded from enrichment experiences due to cost or access. Last year, with your support, we reached nearly 80 students. This year, we are determined to do even more.

Through hands-on, developmentally appropriate social and academic activities, START helps young people build confidence, strengthen essential skills, and feel a true sense of belonging in their community. For many of our students, this is more than a program, it is a space where they are seen, supported, and inspired to imagine new possibilities for their future.

But we cannot do it without you.
