Hi, I'm Delon Spooner, a father, a student, a hard worker, and someone who’s trying his best to overcome a tough setback.

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help. But life has a way of throwing curveballs when we least expect it and right now, I’m facing a series of challenges that I simply can’t overcome on my own.

THE ACCIDENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Recently, I was involved in a car accident that completely disrupted my life. Another driver ran a red light after their brakes failed and crashed into my vehicle. Thankfully, I survived the crash but my car didn’t. The damage was severe. And to make things worse, the driver at fault didn’t have full insurance coverage, which left me with a wrecked car and no financial support to cover the repairs.

I’ve also been suffering from significant back pain since the accident. I’ve had to seek medical care and visit a chiropractor for treatment, which has added unexpected medical expenses to an already overwhelming situation.

WHY MY CAR IS MORE THAN JUST A VEHICLE

To many, a car might just be a way to get from point A to point B. But for me, my car is my lifeline. It's how I:

Without a car, I’ve been left scrambling relying on expensive rideshares, missing opportunities, and struggling to provide for my children in the way they deserve. Every day without reliable transportation is a step backward, and I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat.

On top of working and caring for my family, I’m pursuing my education. I believe deeply in the power of learning and am committed to creating a brighter future for my kids by investing in myself. But tuition fees, books, supplies, and everyday expenses don’t pause, not even for an accident.

Trying to balance everything, medical care, repairs, school fees, and childcare has become too much. I've explored every possible option. I’ve cut back, budgeted, and pushed through, but now I’ve hit a wall. And that’s why I’m reaching out to you.
