Support South Bay Parents for Choice

We are community members and parents in the South Bay advocating for parental choice in schools when it comes to vaccine mandates, quarantine and testing protocol, and classroom masking.

We believe the state government, county health departments, school districts, superintendents, and school boards have overstepped their boundaries when it comes to our children's health and bodily autonomy. We have repeatedly communicated with school authorities regarding these matters, and have been repeatedly dismissed. We feel it is now time to take legal action, so we can fight to return these important personal health issues back where they belong--in the hands of South Bay parents.

Initial money raised will go to a 10k attorneys retainer fee. This retainer covers districts in Torrance, Redondo, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, Hermosa Beach, and Wiseburn. Once we receive the retainer fee and attorney contracts are signed, the hourly rate is $350.  The funds we are raising right now are to cover the cost of the retainer, cease and desist letters, (dependent on the hours taken to draft up and finalize) and individual cases that may hold merit. If we go to litigation, there will be more billable costs. We are expecting we will have to go to litigation which is why we are raising the $15,000. Any unused funds will be donated to a like-kind legal effort.
