 Our beautiful Sofia Camaj, daughter of Viktor and Amy Camaj, is fighting a battle that no child and no family should ever have to face.

 Sofia was diagnosed with Stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma in October 2025. From that moment forward, her life became filled with hospital stays, chemotherapy, treatments, scans, procedures, and countless difficult days. Through it all, Sofia continued to fight with incredible strength.

 In January 2026, we received the news we had prayed so hard for — Sofia’s cancer was completely gone. Our family finally felt like we could breathe again. We believed the nightmare was behind us.
</div>

 Unfortunately, in July 2026, our world was shattered when we learned that Sofia’s cancer had returned — and this time, it came back in full force.
</div>

<div>
 The cancer and the treatments have taken an unimaginable toll on Sofia’s body. Chemotherapy has caused nerve damage in her legs, and tumors affecting her spine have left her unable to walk and dependent on a wheelchair. Yet even after everything she has been through, Sofia continues to fight.

 Sofia is one of eight siblings and comes from a loving, hardworking family. Her father, Viktor, works incredibly hard to provide for his family, while her mother, Amy, is a stay-at-home mother devoted to caring for their children and being by Sofia’s side throughout this fight.
</div>

<div>
 We are now facing another heartbreaking obstacle.
</div>

</div>
<div>
 There is a targeted medication that Sofia’s doctors want to use in her fight against this cancer, but insurance has denied coverage for it. When you are fighting for your child’s life, being told that a potentially important treatment will not be covered is devastating.
</div>

 This is why we are asking for help.

 Funds raised will help Sofia’s family with the cost of her treatment, medications, medical needs, travel, and the many expenses that come with caring for a child battling Stage 4 cancer.

 If the targeted treatment does not work, the family is also preparing for the possibility of taking Sofia to Germany to pursue additional treatment options. Unfortunately, the financial resources needed to make that possible simply are not there right now.
</div>

 Sofia has beaten this disease before, and we are not giving up on her now.
</div>
