Slow Rise Bakehouse has six staff members who will will not be able to work due to the changes we've had to make for our business in order to keep our community and customers safe during duration of the COVID-19 situation. These are six amazing, passionate, kind people, who care about this community just as much as we do. Please consider supporting them in this difficult time. ALL money raised will be divided evenly among our 6 staff members (owners not included) to help soften the blow of not being able to work both last week, and in the weeks ahead.
While staff is able to apply for unemployment benefits, these benefits do not fully compensate them for lost income and income from tips that we can no longer collect, since we are moving to an online order/delivery format at this time.
