<div>I’m a single mom to a beautiful almost 3-year-old little girl, Skyler Rae. Since leaving a difficult situation when she was just a month old, I’ve worked hard to give her a safe and loving home. Until recently, her father and I shared joint custody, but due to recent events I am now in the process of becoming Skyler’s full-time caregiver. She is truly my whole world, and my priority is making sure she has the stability and protection she deserves.

<div>Recently, an unexpected and very serious situation has put me in a place where I need to take time off work to protect and provide for Skyler. Without going into all the details, I am in the process of pursuing full custody a second time around to make sure she has the safe and stable home she needs. This requires me to miss work for court, paperwork, and appointments—which means I won’t be receiving my full paycheck during this time.
