Hello, friends!

We are the Ouellette family, and we’d like to introduce you to our beloved cat, Skye. He belongs to our son Nathan and is a Domestic Shorthair with a wonderful personality and a healthy, happy lifestyle. Skye often appears on social media with his owner, helping entertain and bring smiles to their followers! Although he’s an indoor cat, Skye has a curious spirit and a love for exploring.

Recently, Skye had a tragic accident. He slipped outside unnoticed and was likely hit by a vehicle while crossing the street. While we can’t say for certain, we believe this is what happened, as he returned home limping and bleeding from his mouth, eye, and ear.

Skye was rushed to emergency care and has undergone multiple surgeries. He suffered several small fractures to his jaw, requiring his mouth to be wired shut and a feeding tube to be placed. He is also believed to be temporarily blind in one eye, with additional medical concerns still being evaluated. Although he’s recovering slowly, there have been complications, and his condition requires ongoing care.

As many of us know, veterinary costs can quickly become overwhelming, especially in emergencies like this. The bills are piling up and are expected to grow during Skye’s recovery.

We love Skye dearly, and we will always prioritize his health, no matter the cost. That said, we’re reaching out for support during this difficult time. If you love animals and believe in giving them a second chance at a happy life, we would be deeply grateful for any help you can offer. All funds go towards Skye’s recovery efforts.
