Recently, Sista Dawn traveled to Florida in search of better treatment to aid in her recovery from a stroke she endured in her hometown of Portland, Jamaica.

<div>Sista Dawn has been a cornerstone in the community, dedicating herself to youth development through impactful programs such as summer camps, art expos, and farming initiatives. Her passion for creating exceptional crafts and uplifting the lives of those around her has inspired countless hearts.

<div>Regrettably, she’s unable to speak or walk at this moment. Therefore, we are now seeking proper care for her, including physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy to increase her chances of a full recovery. These treatments come with a significant financial burden, along with the need for a full-time caregiver as she requires assistance with all daily activities.

<div>My sister had to leave her job to provide full-time care as I am currently eight months pregnant. This situation has placed an immense strain on our family both emotionally and financially.
