<div>Charity Mackenzie is my best friend of over a decade. She is a strong, selfless 46-year-old single mom who was recently diagnosed with DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ) — an early form of breast cancer. To protect her long-term health and chance of developing invasive cancer, she is preparing to undergo a double mastectomy on July 7, 2025 with a reconstruction surgery a couple months later.
