Support Sienna and Lincoln's Journey of Healing

Donation protected
Hello friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and passers by in this gift of our lives, Ron, Sienna, Lincoln, Myself (Julie), and Jax. There are not enough words in the world, nor any befitting to accurately describe what our hearts feel. I will try to offer a glimpse into my wishes for Sienna and Lincoln, and the reason I am asking for help...

You all have been with us, whether near or far, for many moments or few, as blessings offered in the kaleidoscope of our journey...we are forever greatful for you. Our hearts are grateful and vitalized by the most loving way you have woven a net of prayers to carry us in our heartbreak as we mourn the loss of Ron, and tenderly begin our journey towards healing...and the mountain of new beginnings we face.

We cannot thank you enough!!

Ron is a FORCE...he loved his children with everything he was!! Sienna and Lincoln were his purpose, his devotion, his strength, his love, his heart, and his WHOLE LIFE! He never let a moment go by without trying to pack as much strength, knowledge, integrity, honor, courage, vitality, humanity, and wisdom into them as he could. His life spoke to them of discipline, hard work, and strong boundaries. His death will speak to them of compassion, courage of faith, and forgiveness...flexibility to bend lest they break.

I would like to say thank you to all of you who have waited patiently in your heart space while wanting to find a way to help us. I know it is not easy to stay along for the journey when you feel helpless to watch these two amazing young adults courageously face saying goodbye...

That being said your donations will help us to make things as "normal" as possible while we transition and face the many "firsts," everyday gifts of life, currently shadowed with the heaviness of heart without Ron present to share the experiences. Things like Sienna's newfound love for throwing shot put, a bond shared between her and Ron, which added a new layer this past week when her Varsity team won the State LL division championship...a tearfully bittersweet moment. Or everytime the sun is shining and Lincoln wants me to take him fishing because he LOVED fishing with his father, and is just like Ron in the way that is it their happy place; everything is a bit clearer at the waters edge with the wind on your face. This will support Project Oceanology Camp they are both ecstatic to be returning to this year. Ron enrolled them last year for the first time, and my heart melted when we went to pick them up...as much for the smiles on their faces, as the smile on Ron's knowing he did right by them. My wish is to be able to continue family traditions of Yard Goats games, mini golfing tours aroung the state, our annual trip to Narragansett, attempts to recreate amazing BBQ, spending time sharing with friends and family. To continue with developmental progams for athletic, academic, and personal growth such as driver education, cars, college, to be able to breathe and be present for them as a mother while managing thousands of other bits and pieces being tended to in the coming months and years specific to Sienna and Lincoln.

My goal everyday is to cultivate hope with them, that they don't just get to survive, but rather a chance to continue to THRIVE...recongnizing love, compassion, and community support as a guiding light through the darkest of days and allowing it to fill their hearts with gratitude. That they may firmly plant their feet on this foundation, and leap towards life and its opportunities, excitedly awaiting their futures.
