Chicago's own <strong>Shout Section Big Band</strong> is in the process of cooking up ANOTHER <strong>burning hot big band album - "Tatum's Swingin' Session!"</strong> and we need your help to make the magic happen! In the wake of the band's successful previous album <em>"Swing Forward!"</em>, we've invited Chicago native &amp; internationally acclaimed <strong>vocalist Tatum Langley</strong> back into the studio with us to bring the world some more swingin' songs &amp; twistin' tunes - and you know what they say: <em>bigger is better &amp; better is bigger</em>... so we invite YOU to help be a part of our latest undertaking &amp; contribute to the creation of the <strong>next greatest big band album</strong> on this side of the Mississippi (or so they're saying...)

<div>The <strong>Shout Section Big Band</strong> was formed in 2007. Since then, we've been <strong>entertaining audiences at swing dances, weddings, corporate events, city concerts, festivals and schools all over the Midwest</strong>. We've been featured on <strong>WGN TV</strong>, <strong>WBEZ radio</strong>, and on the nationally syndicated television show, <strong><em>"Vampire Diaries."</em></strong> We were hired by Amazon.com to perform 1940's swing for the<strong> opening of the Amazon Prime series <em>"A League of Their Own."</em></strong> Shout Section holds <strong>prestigious residencies</strong> at Chicago's most storied venues such as <strong>Andy's Jazz Club</strong> and <strong>Fitzgerald's Nightclub</strong>. The band also performs a monthly dance for the lindy-swing community at the <strong>Roxy Theater</strong> in the Chicago suburbs.

<div><strong>An amalgamation of musical influences, Tatum Langley</strong> is a Chicago-born, raised, and based <strong>vocalist &amp; performer</strong> specializing in big band jazz &amp; musical theatre styles. With <strong>mesmerizing vocal agility</strong>, <strong>captivating stage presence</strong>, and a voice that is certainly larger than her small build may suggest, Tatum has charmed the audiences of cozy jazz clubs &amp; intimate cabaret venues, as well as shaken the rafters of performance spaces &amp; theaters across the globe. She regularly records &amp; tours with<strong> internationally-renowned musical sensation <em>“Postmodern Jukebox”,</em></strong> amassing millions of views online, and sings regularly with Chicago’s own <strong>Shout Section Big Band</strong>. She has residencies of her own at venues such as <strong>The Drake Hotel's Coq d'Or lounge</strong>, and recently wrote &amp; performed her own cabaret, <em>"A Walk Down 42nd Street: Broadway's Biggest Hits &amp; Best Kept Secrets"</em>. She has her BFA in Musical Theatre from <strong>Ball State University</strong>, and has multiple regional theatre &amp; production credits under her belt.
