Aloha everyone! My name is Darcy Salmo and I’m the oldest daughter of my family and have organized this fundraiser on behalf of my dad, Sherwin Salmo. I never thought our family has to do this but on January 23rd my dad had suffered a heart attack while on the job. Luckily he was able to get to the hospital on time where they placed 2 stents in his heart. He had a 99% blockage to his arteries. On top of that he has high blood pressure and diabetes. He has also suffered a stroke almost 2 years ago. He is stable now and at home recovering, but we wanna help him on his road to recovery. He will not be able to return to work yet as he can’t do anything that will put stress on his heart and he is prone to another heart attack. If you know my dad, he’s a selfless man who puts everyone before himself and such a hard worker. He is a father of 6 with 5 grandkids and a 6th grandchild on the way. Now it’s our turn to put him first and give him the care and attention he needs. All the funds will go to his medical bill and to help support him financially as he will not be able to return to work yet. Any amount of donations is greatly appreciated.
