Sherli Morgan has been the friend of those sponsoring this GoFund page from 40+ to 51 years. (Teena Whaley Culbreth, Lisa Starnes, Dave & Sharon Peeter’s, Clayton & Gayla Grunau). We know the impact she has made on thousands of children and their families as she served faithfully as a Children’s Pastor for over 48 years. Sherli retired and moved back to Arkansas in 2022. Her plan was to work part-time and enjoy life. Little did she imagine that her retirement funds, put back over years and years at a MAJOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, would be embezzled by her financial advisor and others. When she realized her social security would not begin to cover her rent, car payment, insurance, gas, food etc, she reached out to advisor to begin getting funds to supplement her SS and job. After weeks and weeks of him beating around the bush, she acquired an attorney to assist her. In the end, the theft of her retirement was discovered.

Sherli has developed some significant health issues which have impacted her ability (at almost 72) to work enough hours to pay her expenses. She has Diagnosis of Lumbar Radiculopathy and Spinal stenosis - nerve stress which has caused debilitating pain and ability to be mobile.

Bottom line: Sherli needs our help immediately. Being single and without children leaves all of this on her. She has bailed people out over and over throughout her career and now we need to bail her out. We will keep you updated on her and how her case is progressing. At the current time, it is in the hands of the FBI. Her attorney is fairly confident that she will eventually get her retirement funds back but until then, she is in dire need. Please help her.
