Hello, my name is Shelly Spotleson Sinclair.

The Achilles Heal (comedy/drama/mystery) is a Screenplay owned by Bri-Am Entertainment, an Independent Film Company, with a story that needs to be seen and heard. The budget reflects a professional - ensemble cast of players, with a highly experienced crew, and will be shot in southwest Colorado or Northern New Mexico.

This is not a stoner comedy.
 It’s a story about love, resilience, and the power of alternative medicine. Set in a small town, The Achilles Heal follows an unexpected hero whose journey is catalyzed by Rick Simpson Oil—a potent symbol of healing and hope.

It’s a heartfelt story about the bond between a mother and son, and the healing of a small town. Through humor and heart, we aim to break down stigma around medical cannabis and offer a new narrative: one rooted in compassion, not controversy.

As an actor, I have studied with Michael Shurtleff, Titos Vandis, Salome Jens, Ted Ziegler, Christopher Robin, Brice Studio (NYC), HB Studio (NYC), Groundling Theatre (LA), and Second City (LA).

*which received the Golden Starfish Honorable Mention Award at The Hampton's International Film Festival and Best Feature Film Award at The New York Underground Film Festival, and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
