Hi, my name is Shelley Benavides. I was diagnosed with pleomorphic lobular breast cancer on December 13, 2024. This is a rare, aggressive cancer in the milk ducts and ducts that will come back no matter what unless I have a double mastectomy. There are only 16 cases known is the USA and not much is known about how to treat it . We caught it early, thank God. They have done a lumpectomy, and I will be starting the 5-year hormone pill and radiation in January and will be on this until surgery. I do still work full-time at the moment, but my check only goes so far. I do have insurance but with that I’m still having to come up deductible and out of pocket of 11,500.00.

Any amount will help me achieve the amount I need to get this done.
