This message is from Shaz “i live in my car. yesterday while at work my car was stolen out of the parking lot of my job. everything i own is in that car including passport and social. all my clothes, shoes, literally anything you can think of is now gone except for my phone cuz it was on me. i now have nothing. no money cuz i just started working and no where to go in this cold except for my local police station. i’m really tired, alone, scared and hungry. i’m fed up for real. i literally spent March 2024 - December 2024 homeless and sleeping at JFK Airport. in December of 2024 i finally got a room to rent but then ended up losing my job and couldn’t pay rent. so i decided to move into my car. i lived in my car for a couple days and then it gets stolen while i’m literally WORKING. my whole life is in that car. how can someone break into someone’s car, see that they live in it and still take it? next level evil right there. i really just want to live. i’m tired of trying to live and barely surviving…” If anyone is able to even donate $5 that would help him at least get a meal and if anyone has any resources like extra clothes and shoes or opportunities for shaz to work or have a safe place to stay during this cold winter in NYC please reach out to me.
