“I know pride can be a persons big downfall” So, I’m reaching out to my Facebook family to share where I’m at and invite your support during a tough season. As a single mother of five, I’ve been working hard to keep everything together, and while I’ve recently started a part-time job, my hours will increase once I complete my 30-day training program.

This month has brought extra challenges. I’ve received a pay-or-vacate notice that must be resolved by 8/20/25 to avoid court proceedings. With school starting for my children on tomorrow 8/14/25, I’m determined to keep us in our home so they can start the year without disruption. At the same time, I was denied food stamps due to a processing issue, and while I’ve reapplied, that decision can take up to 30 days.

Once my hours increase, I’m confident I’ll be able to keep us steady. For now, I’m inviting anyone who feels led—whether through a donation, a share, or even a prayer—to help us bridge this moment. Every bit of support helps us cover rent, past due utilities, last minute school stuff and groceries so my kids can start school strong.
