Hello family and friends, as you know, I am Carissa, Shauna’s older sister. I want to take a moment to reflect on how extraordinary my baby sister is. She is a beautiful, hardworking, and loving single mother raising three children. She strives each day to meet and balance all their separate needs. She also manages to make sure they all make it to their sports events, practices, and also guides them to meet their full potentials. If you know Shauna and the kids well, they all three are talented little athletes and the schedule can get very hectic, but she makes it work somehow.

She has had a very tough several years trying to get out of a very bad living situation not only for herself but for all the kids. She has been able to pull through it all and recently got a beautiful home for all of them, a fresh start at life. With this new beginning that has been long deserved comes additional financial costs to start all over. She left everything behind when she left the toxic situation. She is needing to refurnish her whole place and get beds for all the kids along with other things over time.

My whole family and I want to help her and the kids to get a little head start for this new beautiful journey ahead. If you are able to donate anything, that would be highly appreciated and I know a true blessing for Shauna and her children. Thank you all truly from my heart.
