support Shaun Furlong & family x

It is with heavy heart i write to ask evryone one who knows and cares for Shaun & his lovely family to come together to show their love and support to help in any way they can during this heartbreaking time...
Our dear friend Shaun has fibrois, a life threatening illness that he has bravely battled for three years, this condition was caused due to working in loft instilation in previous years, the fibre glass has entered his lungs causing unrepairable damage, although a transplant op was discussed in the early stages, unfortunatly it is now to late and shaun is too unwell to undero such a huge operation, there is nothing more the doctors can do to treat him ,  he sadly has just months left..
We are all devestated by this news.
After talking with Shaun from his hospital bed, hes expessed his wishes not to have flowers at his funeral, instead he would like to ask anyone wanting to donate anything that a fund be set up for his wife Dee to help her and their two teenage children through their difficlt times ahead...
We have since spoken to Shaun & Dee about this 'Go Fund Me' donation , and they both agree it would help them so much, but they felt a sense of embassement to do this, we've assured them not to feel this way, telling them people will want to help, so we offered to set this up on their behalf, which they are so grateful for, and completly humbled by , to even  think people would be be so kind..
Although Shauns family will need our help when shaun is no longer with them,  I strongly feel we can start this straight away, to show shaun how much we care & are here for them, this in turn will ease his mind so much as his main worry and anxiety is leaving his family to struggle, not only with greif but also finacially, the less stress he feels keeps him here longer with us, as the extra worry causes his breathing to deteriote furthur needing to use face oxygen mask for long periods causing his natural breathing to shut down , so come on lets show this lovely man we are all here for him, lets give him peace of mind and put a few smiles on his face while we can....
I will keep this 'Go fund me' for them going as long as Shaun is here and beyond, please keep Shauns wish of no flowers at his send off,  and  instead lets show him we are taking care of things for his wife and kids....

Just A little bit about Dee:
This lady is probrably the most kind hearted & unassuming person ive ever known, she hasnt a bad word to say about anyone, and is genuinly so appreciative of anyones kindness. she is such a dedicated wife to shaun and an absolute rock to the family, she has also had health problems recently but you never hear her complain, she carries on caring for shaun not showing her own heartache... just a genuine  lovely person :
