<div>Our colleague and sister paramedic, Shannon DuRoss, has spent over 20 years answering the call as a paramedic in multiple agencies always putting the needs of others before her own. A proud and devoted mother, Shannon is raising five children: her oldest, CJ, is a college student and an EMT following in her footsteps; her six-year-old triplets — Rory, Fiona, and Kate — bring constant energy and joy to her home; and her youngest, McKenna, is just four years old. Recently diagnosed with kidney cancer, Shannon is now facing surgery, treatment, and a challenging recovery. With limited sick time and no paid leave at her new job, where she is still in her initial employment period, the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. Shannon has dedicated her life to caring for others, and now she needs our support. Please consider donating to help ease her burden so she can focus on healing and being there for her children.
