<div>Our best friend Shane, who we have grown up with, was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic mutation called GATA2 Deficiency, a condition that causes bone marrow failure and leukemia. Shane was born completely deaf and has had numerous medical events throughout life, with root causes being unknown until now. Unfortunately, this disease is not one that can be left untreated; therefore, Shane has to put life here in Texas on hold and move to Washington, DC, for 1-2 years for a bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy. While undergoing treatment, Shane will not be able to work; thus, we would love to help him in any way that we can. Shane has never asked for help, and we all know he never will, so we are starting this for him without him knowing. 100% of funds raised will be given to him before Oct. 14th when he heads to DC. We are hoping to make his journey easier and a touch more comforting! Thank y’all from the bottom of our hearts…Shane will forever be grateful!
