Send Shamad to DC for STEM

Shamad was nominated by a teacher at his school to be apart of the NYLF (National Youth Leadership Foundation) in Washington DC this summer.
Only the brightest, most talented students get elected to be apart of this awesome education. He was nominated by one of his teacher because he shows maturity, scholastic merit and leadership potential at such a young age. STEM is designed to give future leaders, such as Shamad, an opportunity to discover his personal strengths and leadership and life skills for academic and career success.
Shamad will join other kids his age around the region for a great experience. This is a first come first serve program. We are asking for help with the cost of the tuition, which is $2,550. And also travel expenses to and from WV to D.C. Also there is a $450 deposit. Therefore, our goal we would like to reach needs to be meet by March 7, 2017 for the deposit of $450 and the rest by July 15, 2017.
Shamad's father and I are very proud of him and hope that he can take this big step in life to fulfill his dreams and make life choices. We pray that you will help us for his trip to Washington DC this summer.
