Support Serendipity Farm, Alpacas & Llamas

We at Serendipity Farm & Sanctuary, Alpacas & Llamas ask for help to raise $10,000 in support of our on-going sanctuary, rescue and education work. The money will be used to expand the perimeter fencing, build additions to the shelters, and to create another safe quarantine area for bringing in rescue / sanctuary male llamas.
The 104 acre sanctuary is located in the Lanark Highland and consists of 20 acres fenced areas for the camelids, and an extensive trail system through forest and meadows used for llama trekking. The sanctuary offers a safe space for llamas looking for rehoming, and respite care. It is a non-profit and relies on volunteers to help with chores. During normal, non-Covid times, we are able to support the care and feeding of our usual capacity of 60 to 70 animals, as well as carry out the ongoing repair and maintenance projects at our farm and sanctuary, by offering llama walks and treks, tours of the sanctuary, and through sales of camelid products in our Store. On top of the dwindling funds due to Covid lockdowns, we continue to receive more requests to provide new homes for llamas, often for lone males, which have very specific needs. Llamas are herd animals and will get depressed or even die without the companionship of a herd. With the support of your donation, we will be able to provide such special services on an ongoing bases, and continue to provide a much needed safe haven for these amazing creatures.
