"Empowering Seniors: Self-Worth and Emotional Well-Being"

Our goal : To empower residents and uplift their spirit and sense of self-worth.

This project was inspired by the memory of my dear friend Juli, an artist who created beauty with the stroke of brush to canvas and turned words to magic with pen to paper. In the last few years of Juli's life her hands trembled and she was unable to even write a simple note. Luckily she was able to share her thoughts and words on paper with the help of a loving family member. If only we were all so blessed.

Please help-

When the elderly move from their homes to nursing facilities they often find themselves cut off from family and friends. Profound feelings of loneliness, accompanied by a heartbreaking decline in both physical and mental well-being often occur.

Please join our efforts to help ease their pain.

Volunteers will bring a delightful selection of cards and stationery. Each resident will be individually assisted in chosing a card and writing out a message. We will encourage them to share a simple thought, treasured moment or a piece of history to with others, reminding them of thier invaluable contributions and the significant roles they 've played.

We will focus on the activity, cherishing the moment, and helping each person feel valued and uplifted.
