<div>Last week I got terminated by my workplace after one of my posts got reported to corporate.
</div>
<div>The post was of me posting a box of pennies that a customer paid with, saying that (paraphrased), I wanted to blow up the customer's head like from the 1981 movie <em>Scanners</em>.
</div>
<div>Corporate didn't take this well, and I was fired promptly. This was the first such incident I encountered while at this job, and I deleted all posts regarding me and my workplace, but that wasn't enough.
</div>
<div>My managers worked to keep me hired as I have been working for this company for the last five years, but alas, the appeal failed and I'm terminated.
</div>
<div><strong>I strongly believe that the reason why I got fired was due to the posts I made online regarding the Charlie Kirk shooting. </strong>The customer that would have supposedly made the report was a significantly older gentleman that drove a ran-down truck, and would not be "online" enough to identify my first and last name (I wasn't wearing my name badge), find my exact post, and report me to corporate, much less care about the post as I did not show the individual's face or name. Furthermore, the report made to corporate was by an <strong>anonymous source</strong>, not the <strong>customer himself</strong> where he could be contacted for more information regarding my case and my post. My manager thought this was the case as well. I have received several threats in my direct messages and replies to my posts, so I strongly believe that I was wrongfully terminated by someone that aimed to get me fired for this reason, for political reasons.

<div>The current job economy's bad, and due to the nature of my termination, I'm without unemployment benefits for four more weeks, much less a job; and that's just for my application to get reviewed. I don't know when I'll be able to get unemployment, and I was already barely making ends meet, going week to week.
</div>
<div>I hate doing this, but I think considering the circumstances of my termination and the current job climate, I think it's only fair for me to request aid. I was wrongfully terminated in spite of my loyalty to the company, and now I'm in a truly uncomfortable spot of paying for bills, food, and rent in the current climate.
</div>
