Hello Friends!

My name is Scout. I am a 21-year-old trans masculine individual living and working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I received top surgery on the 5th of May, and I am currently 6 weeks into my recovery. This journey has been amazing and truly transformative. While this is true, it has been equally stressful. Due to the current climate, I am reminded of the importance that this procedure has to my growth mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to receive top surgery and have the people in my life support me through this process.

I am reaching out and asking for emergency mutual aid to help me stay on my feet as I slowly return to normal work and activity. I returned to work on June 9th on light duty. I have not been able to work my typical amount of hours. This money would go towards rent, bills, and daily expenses, bridging the gap until I’m back to full health. I also have two cats, Francois and Biscotti; these funds will also help me keep them fed and in good health.
