My boy’s journey to me feels like it was meant to be. He didn’t have the easiest start, but somehow life led him right into my arms, and from that moment on, he became my whole world.
Scout was surrendered by his old owners due to family changes. He was dropped off at an adoption center where he caught kennel cough. I brought scout to my local vet to get on some cough medicine. As the night went on I noticed his struggle to breathe and lack of energy. I brought him to my local emergency vet where they diagnosed him with pneumonia. Due to this illness, he is struggling to gain an appetite and struggling to breathe and he has not ate for a few days now. The emergency vet is keeping him overnight where he will get the best treatment, they will monitor his breathing as his body tries to fight off this nasty sickness. They will monitor him and keep him safe and make him feel better.
I’ve watched him grow, learn, and fill my days with the kind of love I never even knew I was missing. Now that he’s sick, my heart breaks seeing him struggle, but I also see the same strength and spirit he’s always carried with him. No matter what happens, he’s my best friend, my family, and my soul dog — and I’ll be by his side through every single step, just like he’s always been by mine.
I am not the type to ask for help but when it comes to my fur baby, anything I can get is beyond appreciated. I hope you can reach deep down in your hearts and help us out as we battle through this tough time in life and get scout back on the road to a healthier life.
