Our sweet 4-year-old daughter, Sara, was recently diagnosed with pediatric nephrotic syndrome, a kidney disease that causes her body to lose protein through her urine. Because of this condition, Sara’s little body swells, and she is at higher risk for infections and other complications.
These last couple of months have been a whirlwind. We have spent many days and nights in the hospital. Sara has endured countless blood draws, IVs, scans, and treatments—more than any child should ever have to face. Through it all, she has shown incredible bravery, and we are so proud of her strength.
By the grace of God and the dedicated care of her doctors, we are hopeful that Sara will continue to improve and eventually be able to live a full, healthy life.
Unfortunately, the toll this journey has taken on our family has been more than emotional—it has also been financial. The cost of medications, frequent hospital visits, gas for travel back and forth, parking fees, food during hospital stays, and lost wages from missed work have added up quickly. Like many families, we were not prepared for the financial strain that comes with a medical crisis.
We are humbly reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward Sara’s care and supporting our family during this difficult time. If you are not able to give financially, we deeply appreciate your prayers and for you to share Sara’s story with others.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. Your generosity, encouragement, and prayers mean the world. May God bless you for blessing our little girl.
