<div>My best friend Sarah suffered a massive stroke, which also resulted in significant hemorrhaging in her brain, on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024. While the initial reports we received were not very promising, she has made incredible progress since this first occurred. Her improvements have been nothing short of miraculous, and while we are all extremely grateful for her progress, we know that she still has a very long and challenging road ahead of her.

<div>She is being moved to a rehabilitation facility very soon where she will begin to learn to walk and to complete everyday tasks again. She is still completely paralyzed on her right side and will require extensive physical, speech, and occupational therapy.

<div>Her initial hospital bills, transportation via ambulance to the rehab facility, costs of the rehab itself, along with the longer-term expenses of making housing and vehicle accommodations together present an almost insurmountable cost to Sarah and her family. <strong>Any and all contributions to help cover these costs are greatly appreciated.</strong>
