<div>Monday, November 14, our roommate Sarah Mooneyhan suffered from a sudden and unexpected brain injury as a result of the hemorrhage of an arteriovenous malformation. It is a congenital medical condition that had not presented itself prior to Monday, before which she did not demonstrate any signs of trouble. Sarah is now receiving care from amazing doctors at UNC hospital and is in a coma in their Neuroscience ICU until she is well enough to begin her recovery. At the moment, she is relatively stable and has a large group of people who care about her deeply, sending their thoughts, prayers, and love her way. Sarah is continuing to improve each day but has a long journey ahead. Please consider donating to help Sarah and her family as she continues to fight her way through each day with unimaginable strength. There is a need for support to help cover the costs of Sarah’s medical expenses both now and throughout her recovery so that her family can continue to be by her side during this difficult time and provide her with support and love to aid in her progress. We do not know the long-term financial needs of Sarah’s treatment, but as her situation progresses, we will continue to update this site and her fundraising goal as needed.
