<div>Every time I sit down to write this, the words don’t feel quite right. But, like life—imperfect, beautiful, and sometimes brutally hard—I’m putting this out here.

<div>On behalf of my best friend, Sarah Hetrick—an incredible mom, devoted wife, loving sister, and fierce friend—I’m sharing her story and asking for your support.

<div>On June 11, 2025, shortly after returning from a joyful trip to Puerto Rico and on the brink of starting an exciting new job, Sarah received devastating news: she has breast cancer. Like it so often does, cancer struck suddenly, turning her world and the world of those who love her upside down.

<div>In just a few short weeks, her life has changed dramatically. Her medical team has created a treatment plan that includes at least six months of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and years of follow-up medication. Her doctors have moved quickly and she began chemotherapy this past Monday.

<div>As many of you know, cancer doesn’t just come with physical pain and fear it brings an emotional, mental, and a financial toll. That’s why this GoFundMe exists: to rally behind Sarah and her family.
