We are the family of Sara Pella - a beautiful person on the inside and out, and we're asking for help on behalf of Sara and her husband, Jordan. <strong>Sara has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer</strong> and has a long road ahead of doctor's appointments and treatments. With this comes the cost of gas, lodging, medical bills plus life expenses that don't seem to go anywhere, no matter the circumstances.

<div>If you don't know Sara, let me tell you a little about her. Sara is a 33-year-old vibrant woman. She is a great wife and mother as well as a teacher, coach, and very active community member. She has an incredibly supportive husband of 5 years, and two beautiful children, ages 4 and 1. She is also a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend...the list is endless as to who she is to so many people. She goes above and beyond for those around her and if you've known her, you know that words cannot describe her zest for life, her love for her family and friends, and what a bright light she is on this earth. She is an anchor person in so many people's lives.

<div>She's equally as awesome in her profession as a teacher. Sara received the Golden Apple award for her excellent teaching that took her classroom into the community by having her students read to those at the local senior center.
