<div>Hello! My name is Anna and I am the owner of my lovely cat, Sam, and his left eye is sick. I took him from the pet shelter when he was only 2 months old. When I took him, I was sure that he was healthy and all the records said that he was alright. However, I currently cannot provide healthcare for him. When he became an adult, I started noticing some issues with his eyes. I decided not to get insurance for him because my friends recommended against it, and I regretted this decision because we faced a lot of problems, from fleas to the eye problem.

<div>Sam has entropion, which is a pretty common condition in cats where the cat’s eyelid grows inward and causes severe pain in the eye and discharge coming from his eye (a mix of blood, tears, and pus). We couldn’t figure out what was going on with his eye for so long until he turned 2 years old and one clinic finally gave us an answer. You can see by the pictures I uploaded that this problem wasn’t with him for his whole life, but the doctor said that it was since his birth and as he grew, his eyelash would turn inward more and more.

<div>Nevertheless, the only solution to this problem is surgery. I tried to ask for help from the pet shelter I took Sam from, but they didn’t offer me anything, not even a recommendation to a low-cost clinic. After I called and contacted many clinics, I found one that was the cheapest and looked the best, and the people there are nice. So the total bill with all blood tests and medications (used after the surgery) is around $1800. <strong>If entropion is not treated, it leads to the loss of vision and then the loss of the eye. And to raise the money myself without help will take me minimum 50 weeks. Right now, Sam’s eye condition is the worst it has ever been since his birth, so if you can, I will be very grateful if you decide to help me earn this money and finally make Sam feel better and save his eye.</strong>
