My name is Sam, I’m 32 weeks pregnant and on September 10th I was life flighted to Oahu due to preeclampsia with severe features. I will be stuck here until I’m induced at 34 weeks(or sooner) and then another 4-6 weeks being with my baby in the NICU. It is extremely emotionally tolling because I left behind my 6 year old, and we are both struggling. We have never been separated this long and knowing I won’t see her for 2-3 months breaks my heart. Cayenne has been very worried about her mom and unborn sibling, so I am hoping having a week with me will help support some of the emotional toll she has had and will continue to have. I’m raising funds so her dad and her can get a hotel over here. I found a place that is $820 with kamaaina for the 16-22, any extra funds raised will go towards food, gas, rental car, etc. Funds are extremely tight since I will be out of work for so long.
