<div>After finally enjoying a loving home for a mere 2 weeks, Sammi started to vomit and stopped eating. This continued for 24 hrs when we rushed her to the animal hospital. She has an obstruction in her intestine requiring emergency surgery. There is no chance of her passing it on her own.

<div>Who is Sammi?
</div>
<div>Sammi is a dog we adopted only 2 weeks ago. She came to the animal rescue from animal control in Camden. She is only 2 years old, has been stray most of her life, and, based on information from her spay, has been pregnant multiple times already. The poor little babe has had a rough life. My kids adore her and have been helping us potty and crate train her. Our older dog, Ru (also a rescue), is worried about his new buddy and misses her dearly.

<div>Where is Sammi now?

<div>As I am writing this, my husband is at the animal hospital with her and she is in surgery. But, we were obviously not anticipating this high of a bill and desperate for help to cover it.
