Samantha is asking for support for a dear friend who is facing a devastating medical crisis. After a very serious motorcycle accident, he was taken to the University of Chicago hospital, where he is now being treated for a brain injury and amputation. Right now, he is unconscious, and his brother is caring for him and doing everything possible to be by his side through this life-changing time. He has also had a lot of great family and friends near his side this entire time, and he has not been alone yet. For everyone who knows him, this is especially heartbreaking because he has always been full of energy and motion. He never stops going, and it is hard to imagine someone so active being in this position. 
 
 
 This fundraiser is being created to help ease some of the burden on him and his family as they face the difficult road ahead. Donations will go toward medical bills and therapy, giving his loved ones one less thing to worry about while they focus on his care and recovery.
